Guestbook for Dr. David A. Smith Showing 1 - 8 of 8 entries.

Dr.David Smith had the best humor of all. I was working in the ER nights. At that time all who wanted in had to ring a bell. We were busy and it took me a little longer to get to the door to open it for Dr. Smith. His comment, "I could have crawled through the door faster!!" He smiled and went on his way. God Bless his family and "Thank you God for a wonderful man"

My thoughts are with you, Dean, at this difficult time. He was a dear friend of mine and a classmate in high school in Gilmanton, Wis. Your mother, too, as you know, was also a dear friend. He was indeed a wonderful man and a compassionate and skilled doctor as all the other memorials attest. Thank you for keeping in touch with me during his final illness and after he passed away. Love, Lola

I was a patient of Dr. Smith's a long time ago and he was such a wonderful, kind person. He took over my Mother's case when she was hospitalized back in the mid sixies and the other Dr. she had originally, said she was going to die and walked away from her. Dr. Smith took her on and she is alive and well today because of him. May God bless him and may he rest in peace.

Dr. Smith and I worked at Healthnet in Janesville. He was one of the most professional, compassionate and humble physicians I worked with anywhere. I greatly admired the empathy he showed his patients. I tried to emulate his caring attitude. He always attempted to stay out of the limelight and perform his job the best he could.
It doesn't surprise me that he requested not to have a funeral service or have a detailed obituary, but it is a disappointment in my own mind not to celebrate a life as giving and precious as his, as he served his fellow man.
To a great server to his fellow mankind. My condolences to the family

Dean, you are in my thoughts and prayers. How sad to loose your father and mother in a seven month period of time. They were two of my very favorite people and they were my friends even before you and Stuart were born. David will be missed by many. God bless you. Lois
