George was a gentle, good, sweet spirited man.He would help anyone in need, even giving his jacket to a stranded motorist. He knew that this world was just his temporary home and that Heaven awaited him. His favorite reading material was the Bible and he had read it through completely multiple times. He is with his Lord and Savior and I look forward to seeing him again someday.

I am very sorry about George's death. All of the people who are involved in trying to create a quieter and more peaceful world appreciate his help on this cause, and will miss his help on this important issue.

George was always looking out for those of us that were picked on. I worked along side him several times and could count on him to be a friend on the job. I want to let you know he will be missed and remembered by many.

I'm very sorry about George's passing. He was very dedicated to solving noise pollution problems and was always willing to help me in any way that he could.

As members of Noise Free America, George and I chatted about noise pollution issues on the NFA forum. I and many members of NFA admired his courageous efforts to bring public and official awareness to noise pollution issues in Wisconsin. George did a great service to the citizens of Wisconsin. I see that George had many admirers and friends, myself included, who appreciated him as a very fine person. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

George and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. May his family find comfort in knowing that their sorrow is shared.

I worked closely with George on noise pollution. He was one of the strongest, most dedicated, active members of Noise Free America. He was a pleasure to work with. He testified before the Wisconsin state legislature, wrote letters to the editor and op-eds, and appeared live on a LaCrosse radio program to discuss the need for peace and quiet.
I never met George. In fact, I never even talked with him on the phone. But we were regular e-mail buddies. I felt a real bond with George. I was devastated when I heard he had passed.
George was a very nice man. George was a very good man. He will be sorely missed.
